This website is designed to give a brief  account of the history of Worsley, nr Manchester, England.

It will include photographs of past and present buildings, landmarks, and of people which are of importance to the area.

I hope it will be informative to both people with an interest in the area, and also the casual browser.

As a new addition to the site I am including a What's On guide, which will list local events and places to go to eat and drink etc.

Sorry to those of you who have signed the old guestbook. Free guestbooks are becoming harder to find. I will replace the guestbook when I find a suitable alternative.
